OPPO has confirmed that the Reno Ace 2 5G with the fastest charging technologies on a phone is debuting this April 13th. Through an open letter, OPPO’s VP Brian Shen said that it is bringing back the 65W fast charging from the Reno Ace. In addition to that is wireless charging that supports up to 40W. While OPPO Ace2 5G can charge fast, it also operates fast. The specification is headlined by Snapdragon 865 coupled with up to 12GB RAM. Featuring an FHD+ AMOLED panel, the 6.5″ display is HDR certified and comes with a 90Hz fast refresh rate. It’s even claimed to reach up to 1000nits brightness. As for the cameras, we’re looking at a Vivo Nex 3-like camera module but with 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP configuration. For the rest of the features, Ace2 5G is expected to run on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1 skin, in-display fingerprint scanner, 4000mAh battery, and stereo speakers.
In the US, Reno Ace went on sale with a starting price of $589.99 or nearly P30K when roughly converted. That should give you a rough estimate of how much Reno Ace2 5G will cost.
