
Apart from the Reno8 Series of smartphones, OPPO also unveiled two new devices in China, the OPPO Pad Air, and the OPPO Enco R wireless earbuds.
Let’s start with the OPPO Pad Air. It is the second tablet from the brand after the launch of its first OPPO Pad tablet in February. For specs, it sports a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2K (2000 x 1200) resolution and a standard 60hz refresh rate. Its display also offers an 83.5% screen-to-body ratio and Eye protection mode.
Inside, it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD, and a 7,100mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It boots ColorOS 12 for tablet with Android 12 on top.
In terms of the camera, the OPPO Pad Air has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and can record videos of up to 1080p at 30fps. Upfront is a 5MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and up to 1080p at 30fps video recording.
Other features of the tablet include Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 5.1. It measures 245.08 x 154.84 x 6.94 mm and weighs 440g. It is available in Ash and Star Silver coloways.
The tablet also supports a smart magnetic keyboard and OPPO Smart Stylus. The former is powered by Bluetooth 5.0 and has 1.4mm of key travel, while the latter weighs 18g, has a 650mAh battery, and supports 4096-level pressure sensitivity.
There’s also the OPPO Enco R, the brand’s latest pair of affordable wireless earbuds. It features 13.4mm drivers and supports the AAC and SBC codecs. An AI call noise reduction is available, but there’s no ANC feature.
The Enco R buds are IPX4-rated. Each earbud weighs just 3.5 grams. For battery life, the brand claims that the buds can last up to 4 hours of playtime and an additional 20 hours from the charging case. It can be charged via USB Type-C.
Both the OPPO Pad Air and the OPPO Enco R buds will go on sale on June 1st in China. No word yet for local availability, so stay tuned.
