OPPO Reno8 Series officially unveiled

After rumors and teasers, OPPO has officially introduced its latest smartphone series in China, the OPPO Reno8 series. It includes the Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+.

For specs, the vanilla OPPO Reno8 sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 3.0GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. In addition, it has a 50MP main camera, and a pair of 2MP depth and macro lenses, while a 32MP sensor is at the front.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno8 Pro features a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Inside, it comes with the latest 4nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

In terms of the camera, it is equipped with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera. There’s also Mari X Silicon NPU integrated into the device.

Lastly, the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 950 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it has the 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max octa-core processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

For photography, it incorporates a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it has a 32MP camera. Just like the Reno8 Pro, the Reno8 Pro+ also integrates the brand’s Mari X Silicon NPU.
