OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro launched: 120Hz OLED, 60x Zoom, 5G for P50k price

It’s here! Meet the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. The standard model has a price of €999 / $999 with the Pro model at €1100 / $1100. Both flagship devices will become available in early May 2020. As promised, the Find X2 series features Snapdragon 865 and QHD+ 120Hz display. Aside from the faster refresh rate, the touch rate has been improved to 240Hz and even upscales video and gaming content up to 120fps.

Design-wise, Find X2 can be had in Black Ceramic or Ocean Glass with the Find X2 Pro adding in the Vegan Leather Orange. While the standard model is IP54 splash resistant, the pro model is IP68 making it dust and water-resistant.

There are three main cameras for each device but OPPO took the time to explain the ones on the pro model. The main sensor features 48MP f1.7 with omnidirectional PDAF that improves focus not only in daylight but also in the nighttime. Another large 48MP f2.2 sensor is used for ultrawide which introduces Ultra Steady Mode 2.0. Last but not least is the 13MP f3.0 telephoto lens that offers up to 6x optical zoom, up to 10x hybrid zoom, and up to 60x digital zoom. OPPO is proud to present the 12-bit RAW picture feature for those who want to get a better dynamic range out of their mobile photos. For video, Find X2 series supports Live HDR video, video noise reduction which eliminates wind noise, and 360-degree recording. Before ending the presentation, the company also shared the fact that Find X2 Pro received the highest DXOMark score of 124, tying with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.

During the launch, OPPO sample the Find X2 charging from 0-100% in just 38mins. This is thanks to the Super VOOC 2.0 charging that transmits power at 65W. Interestingly, there’s a pinhole for the selfie camera. Although this may be seen as a step down from the original Find X, the quality when using the display more than makes up for it.
