OnePlus has launched its update for the new OxygenOS for the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and 8T. These updates are for Android security which also includes patches for other issues to January 2021. The updates fix the stuttering problem that was present in some tripartite apps. It also updates the UI display effects of the notification bar as well as the experience when using long screenshots. Other notable fixes are for the noise issue in 5G calls and patches half a dozen of bugs.

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will receive OxygenOS 11.0.4.4 while the 8T in Europe will get an 11.0.7.10 update. Meanwhile, the 8T in India and North America will get OxygenOS 11.0.7.9 update.

    • Optimized the UI display effect of the notification bar
    • Improve the stuttering problem of some tripartite applications
    • Fixed the small probability issue that Twitter may freeze
    • Fixed the issue that opening app split-screen may fail
    • Fixed the issue of failure to switch the accent color in a small probability
    • Fixed the inaccurate display of the attribution of some numbers
    • Fixed known issues and improved system stability
    • Updated Android security patch to 2021.01

    • Fixed the issue that the video cannot be played in a small probability
  • Network
    • Fixed the noise issue of 5G calls

These updates will be available to limited users in the meantime and would release to a broader audience if no bugs or issues are found.
