While OnePlus did cut ties with McLaren for its limited-edition phones, the company partnered up with CD Projekt RED to release the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 in China.Â
Matching the night city theme of one of the most anticipated games in 2020, the Cyberpunk 2077 Edition 8T dons a new outfit, as well as some of the biggest camera hump in phone history. Available in China (for now), the 12GB/256GB model costs CNY 3999 (~Php28,900).Â
As for the design itself, the limited edition device features a dual-textured back — a glossy one and a sandstone-like surface. The in-box case further accentuates the game’s aesthetic with yellow outlines all over it.Â
For an OnePlus phone, this has to be the company’s heavily-skinned UI, thanks to the added wallpaper customization. However, this may be the first time that the new theme also adds two special camera filters for users to play with — Night City and North California.Â
When it comes to the spec sheet, it’s practically the same OnePlus 8T with 120Hz AMOLED and Snapdragon 865. Hopefully, crossed fingers, OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 gets to other markets.Â
