OnePlus is set to release its upcoming “ultimate value flagship” smartphone in India—the OnePlus 15R.
OnePlus has confirmed that the device will debut in India on December 17, alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2.
Ahead of the launch, the brand is already dropping key specification details of the OnePlus 15R. Among the highlighted features is the device’s 7,400mAh battery capacity, which is confirmed to be the largest ever in a OnePlus phone.
According to OnePlus, the battery is made to retain at least 80% of its capacity after four years of use, indicating that its huge capacity is intended for prolonged use. It will also support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology.
Aside from the battery capacity, the brand also revealed that the OnePlus 15R will be able to record 4K resolution video at 120 frames per second, a feature previously available only on flagship OnePlus models.
The OnePlus 15R will sport a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 450 PPI, and a 1,800 nits peak brightness. It will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and will support OnePlus’ Plus Mind AI.
