Nova 7 Series Coming Soon?
Just a week ago, Huawei launched the P40 Lite which happens to be the Nova 6 SE for the European market. Nova series is one of the most popular lineups from the Chinese company due to the feature-packed yet value-oriented prices they offer. Although Nova 6 series has yet to be released in the Philippines, we’re already hearing things about Nova 7 series. According to a report, the latest Nova devices will launch around April. Furthermore, there will be three models — Nova 7, Nova 7 SE, and Nova 7 Pro — all with 5G capability.
While information regarding specs is scarce, we do know that Kirin 990 is Huawei’s latest flagship chipset which also carries a dedicated 5G modem. According to a post on Weibo, there will also be an OLED screen with an under-display fingerprint scanner. While Nova 7 and 7 Pro will most likely come with the flagship chipset, Nova 7 SE is still expected to launch with a mid-range chipset, albeit with 5G connectivity. Could it mean we’re about to see a mid-range 5G chipset from the company, given Qualcomm has its own Snapdragon 765G already? We’ll know as we near the devices’ launch date.
