Microsoft has introduced Copilot Health, a new tool that helps users understand their personal health information using artificial intelligence.
The feature works inside Microsoft Copilot and provides a separate space where users can gather and review their health data.

This may include medical records, wearable device data, and personal health history.
Copilot Health analyzes this information and provides simple insights that may help users better understand their health and prepare questions before seeing a doctor.
The system can connect to data from more than 50 wearable devices, including Apple Health, Oura, and Fitbit.
It can also access health records from over 50,000 hospitals and healthcare providers in the United States through HealthEx, along with lab test results from Function Health.

Microsoft said the feature uses AI to find patterns in health data such as sleep, activity, and other vital signs.
The company is also researching advanced medical AI systems like the Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator, which is being tested in research environments.
For privacy, Microsoft said Copilot Health data is kept separate from regular Copilot chats. The company said the information is encrypted, users can disconnect their health data sources at any time, and the data will not be used to train AI models.

Copilot Health will first launch in the United States in English for adults aged 18 and older. Access will start with a waitlist as part of a gradual rollout.
Microsoft said the tool is not designed to diagnose or treat medical conditions and should not replace advice from healthcare professionals.
