Google Gemini Now Lets Users Remove Watermarks

Google Gemini now allows users to turn visible watermarks on or off for AI-generated content.

The setting is now available in Gemini and Flow, with Google planning to add it to Search next.

It applies to watermarks on AI-generated images, videos, and songs made with Nano Banana, Omni, and Lyria.

However, Google will still embed invisible SynthID and C2PA watermarks into AI-generated images, videos, and music for identification and tracking.

Keep in mind that this option may not be available in countries where visible watermarks are required by law.
