Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone, revealing an 8,000mAh battery inside.

Xiaomi is expanding its number series with the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max, claiming that the 8,000mAh battery inside it is one of the largest ever used in one of its smartphones. While the charging speed has not been revealed, it is expected to support 100W wired charging along with 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi’s silicon-carbon battery technology is being used in the device, so a slimmer body should be maintained even with a larger battery capacity.

Camera-wise, the Xiaomi 17 Max will be equipped with a Leica-branded 200MP main sensor at the back, while reports suggest a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter will accompany the main camera.
Powering it inside will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Meanwhile, It is rumored to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an IP69 raring, while colors are expected to include Sky Blue, White, and Pixel Black.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal the official launch date of the Xiaomi 17 Max, but it is expected to launch on May 21 in China. Stay tuned for more updates.
