It’s nearly four months since Lenovo teased its Legion gaming phone. But even with the coronavirus pandemic, that didn’t stop the PC and laptop maker from boasting its upcoming phone. Based on an official poster, the Legion phone will come equipped with 90W charging technology. That’s not a typo, it is indeed 90W. That’s nearly 30% faster than what OPPO’s 65W SuperVOOC on Ace 2 has to offer. Speed-wise, the 4000mAh battery of Ace 2 can go from 0-100% in just 30mins. Although Xiaomi Black Shark 3 supports 65W charging, too, the larger 4720mAh battery requires 38 minutes. That’s still plenty fast, though.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how big the battery is going to be on the Legion phone. However, the company confirmed that the device is going to use Snapdragon 865 and a heat dissipation design with 14 temperature sensors. The release date is said to be around the 2nd quarter of 2020, so we should hear more about the phone in the next few weeks.
