Popular torrent site Kickass Torrents and its domains like kat.cr have been seized by the US Feds following a criminal complaint filed in the court. The owner which is a Ukranian has been arrested in Poland.
All popular domains relating to Kickass Torrents went down. But a few users in Reddit shared a new mirror which already up and running, the DXTorrent.com. It shares familiarities to kat.cr in terms of UI. As of the moment, the new mirror is just slower but still fully functional.
We don’t know yet if how long the new mirror will continue to go live and we’re not sure if this will become the primary domain after the taking down of kat.cr. Of course, there are a few alternatives to Kickass Torrents like Pirate Bay and Demonoid.
