REMOVE A WATERMARK IN WORD FROM THE WATERMARK MENU

Using the Watermark option is one approach to remove a watermark from a Word document. You may also apply watermarks to your documents using this option.

Start by opening your watermarked document in Microsoft Word.

Just click the “Design” tab at the top of your screen.

If you’re using Windows, choose “Remove Watermark” from the “Watermark” menu; if you’re using a Mac, choose “No Watermark” at the top of the “Insert Watermark” window.

And Microsoft Word will remove your existing watermark from your document.

If you are confused by this method, there is another very easy way to remove the watermark you want to get rid of.

REMOVE A WATERMARK IN WORD BY EDITING THE HEADER

In Word, you may also get rid of a watermark by changing the header (or footer). Your watermark also becomes changeable and erasable when you do that.

Just follow these steps, and open the document file using Microsoft word.

At the top of your screen, just click the “Insert” Tab

Click “Header” under the “Header and Footer” section; you can also select “Footer” if you want.

After that, there will be an option that pops out, then click “Edit Header”.

The header of your document may now be edited, allowing you access to the watermark. In your document, locate the watermark you wish to get rid of and click it.

With your watermark selected, just simply press the Delete key on your keyboard. Word will delete the selected watermark.

And it’s that easy to do, You may now change your watermark or just keep the backdrop of your document blank. Your decision is totally up to you.
