Honor unveiled its new Play 4T series in an Online event in China last April 9, 2020. Wei Xiaolong, Honor’s product manager, said that Play 4T may be the last 4G mobile phone that they will release. The Play 4T is their first phone to have a “T” on its name. He also added that the “T” stands for Terminator, which means terminating their 4G phone line-up. With the Honor 30 series launching on April 15, the Honor phones are expected to enter the 5G era.
Both the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro is an affordable gaming-centric phone that offers a midrange chipset Kirin 710A and Kirin 810. The non-pro version is very different from the Pro version not just in numbers but in hardware features.
