Smartwatches have grown in popularity recently. These wearables can track health and pulse rates and even make mobile payments. Smart assistants like Siri and Google Assistant allow users to send texts, call and set alerts from their smartwatches. Smartwatches are popular with busy people who want to stay linked and track their health and fitness goals. After much conjecture, Google launched the Pixel Watch in 2022. According to recent reports, the firm sold 880,000 Pixel watches in the fourth quarter.

Note that “packed” and “sold” items are different. Units shipped are devices sent to stores for sale, not sold to customers. Google placed second in smartwatch sales despite an 18% dip in the wearable market compared to Q4 2021. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch sales have plummeted due to the Pixel Watch’s buzz, and Google’s figures are impressive for a new gadget released in the last quarter.
Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and stainless steel secure the Pixel Watch’s domed, circular glass display. For tiny wrists, the watch is smaller than most luxury wearables. Its 12.3mm-thick body is 41mm. Lightweight at 32g (without straps). The Exynos 9110 CPU from the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 powers the watch. To maximize energy life, it has a Cortex M33 co-processor. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Fans will eagerly await a Pixel Watch 2 with improved specs from Google.
