GCash users are usually notified when there are updates to their app from time to time, so this might not have been new news to some, but for those who have not upgraded their app yet, GCash just got a whole revamped look!
Through the company’s social media accounts, it has been hinted that the GCash app will be refreshed on June 28, 2022. The updated design looks better and is more user-friendly than the previous one.
There has been a significant change in how your current balance is displayed in the app. In the dashboard, you can easily see your account balance on the blue tab (at the top of the page). Here you can instantly see how much remains in your wallet. It is easy to top up your account by clicking the Cash In button beside the amount.
You can find the usual buttons below for sending money, GSave, Load, GCredit, pay bills, and other most-used features, that have now been rearranged to make them easier to read.
Furthermore, the app now has another feature that allows users to directly access key areas including, but not limited to, the Home, Inbox, Activities, Profile, and if you’re paying cashless at certain shops, restaurants, etc., Pay QR as well.
The GCash Android and iOS apps are available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, so if you haven’t updated them yet, it is highly recommended you do so now.
