Almost a year has passed since MIUI 13 was made available. Additionally, MIUI 14, the next version of Xiaomi’s Android overlay, has already been revealed in the Chinese market. Introduced with the Xiaomi 13, it has since become a popular smartphone. More of the earlier Xiaomi devices will receive the new skin built on Android 13 in 2023.
To be clear, this only guarantees that some previously published Xiaomi products will receive the update. Unfortunately, the upgrade isn’t compatible with all older gadgets. However, most devices were released in early 2020 and later appeared to be in the inventories from Xiaomi UI. Refer to them to find out if your smartphone can receive MIUI 14.
Out of all the devices that qualify, we’ll be rolling out Global MIUI 14 to 10 of them first. We anticipate the upgrade rolling out to the rest of the systems in the system during the second and third quarters of 2023.
