Onto the next one, Samsung has unveiled the 5G variant of the Galaxy A06, which we previously reviewed in November 2024. This new 5G version officially launched in March 2025.
The device boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD screen, 720 x 1600 pixels, with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a notch design.
It also comes with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A06 5G sports an 8MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
When it comes to battery, the device packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. And as mentioned, it supports 5G connectivity and runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, with 4 OS upgrades.
Additionally, this device features IP54 dust and splash resistance, offering enhanced durability for everyday use.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G is available in a 4GB+128GB storage configuration, priced at PHP7,990.
This device offers solid value for those on a budget, at PHP7,990, it’s a great option for casual users who don’t need high-end performance.
But, if you’re into gaming, intensive multitasking, or require a more advanced camera system, you might want to consider other options.
Third on our top 5 phones under 10K list is the HMD Crest 5G, which was launched on January 2025.
It comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display at 2400 × 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole design.
For cameras, you get a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 50MP front camera for selfies. Rear camera also offers up to 1080p video recording.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T760, with 6GB RAM and 256GB expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
HMD Crest 5G also features a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. The device runs on Android 14 and offers Dual nano SIM 5G connectivity.
Now, the price. The HMD Crest 5G is priced at PHP8,990 and is only available in 6GB+256GB configuration.
While the Unisoc T760 chipset may not be the best for heavy tasks or gaming, the camera performs well. If you’re after more advanced features or higher performance, there are other options worth considering.
We’re almost at the end of our top 5 phones under 10K list, and the Redmi Note 14 4G, released in January 2025, has made it in!
This 4G variant comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, featuring an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits of peak brightness.
For photography, it packs a 108MP main camera, supported by 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors. On the front, a 20MP selfie camera for your portrait shots and video calls.
Powering the Note 14 4G is the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
It comes with a 5500mAh battery, supporting 33W wired charging. The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and offers 4G connectivity.
On top of that, this device is also IP54 dust and splash resistant, adding an extra layer of durability.
Seems like a good choice? Well, the Redmi Note 14 4G is priced at PHP 8,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs PHP 9,999. That’s right on budget under PHP 10K, isn’t it?
If you don’t need 5G and want a reliable mid-range phone for everyday tasks and light gaming, this could be a solid choice. On the other hand, if you’re after 5G or faster charging, you might want to explore other options.
We are on our last smartphone on this list and realme C75 takes that spot.
Launched in January 2025, this smartphone features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the camera setup is straightforward, featuring a 50MP AI main camera with up to 1080p video recording and an 8MP front camera.
Performance-wise, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G92 Max chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 24GB using Dynamic RAM Expansion. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB.
One of its biggest highlights is the whopping 6000mAh battery, the largest on this list, paired with 45W wired charging, the fastest along with the POCO M7 Pro 5G.
Another standout feature of the realme C75 is its triple IP rating, IP69, IP68, and IP66. This gives it protection against dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets, making it one of the most durable phones in its category.
For the price, the realme C75 is priced at PHP8,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and PHP10,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
Now, if you prioritize battery life, charging capability, and durability, the realme C75 is a strong option in its price range.
However, if you want an AMOLED screen, a more powerful chipset, or extra camera features, you might find better alternatives on the previous smartphones we mentioned.
Choosing the best one depends on what features matter most to you, whether it’s camera quality, display, performance, or battery life.
