Eight OPPO Employees Tested Positive for Coronavirus, Operations Halted

It was only a few weeks ago when OPPO’s factory was permitted to resume production, but after eight employees tested positive for COVID-19, the said factory located in Greater Noida, India has been forced to halt operations once again. 

OPPO India released a statement saying that the company will be implementing strict measures for the safety of its employees and the environment they’re working in. And, it starts by disinfecting the entire factory thoroughly. 

OPPO’s spokesperson said, “we have suspended all operations at our manufacturing facility in Greater Noida and initiated COVID-19 testing for over 3,000 employees, for which results are awaited. Will only allow employees with negative test results to resume office following all safety protocols.

The company has kept the information and location of the eight employees from the public.
