DJI has officially unveiled the new Osmo Pocket 4P at the Cannes Film Festival.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P introduces powerful yet compact hardware, leaning towards professional, independent filmmakers. At Cannes, DJI emphasized that the camera is tailor-made for documentary creators, visual storytellers, and indie filmmakers looking for highly mobile equipment setups.
According to DJI, the handheld gimbal camera supports 10-bit D-Log2 color profiles for professional-grade color grading.
The Osmo Pocket 4P comes with an improved main sensor capable of capturing a wider dynamic range. Its portrait shooting has been updated to render accurate skin tones and depth of field, as well as its zoom capabilities for far-off subjects. It utilizes updated sensor technology and refined algorithms to maintain image quality and detail in difficult lighting situations, including at night or indoors.
The brand also showcased the camera’s improved stabilization and integration with DJI’s broader ecosystem of production tools, including its audio and stabilization accessories.
DJI is marketing the Osmo Pocket 4P as a pocket-sized replacement for large production cameras, bringing professional video quality down to an accessible consumer format.

DJI has yet to reveal the official release date, pricing, and additional information about the Osmo Pocket 4P. Although it will be available for purchase through the company’s official channels and authorized retail partners.
