Disney+ has started rolling out a new feature called Verts, a vertical video feed, which was first introduced at Disney’s 2026 Global Tech & Data Showcase.
This new feature is to help users discover movies and shows more easily on mobile devices.
To access Verts, users will need to tap the new icon in the navigation bar of the Disney+ mobile app.
Once opened, the feed shows short vertical clips from movies and TV shows available on the platform.
Users can swipe through the clips, similar to other vertical video feeds. From there, they can add titles to their Watchlist or start watching the full content directly.
According to Disney, the feature uses a recommendation algorithm to show clips that match a user’s viewing interests.
Verts is currently available only on the Disney+ mobile app in the U.S.
The company said the current rollout is the first phase of Verts. In the future, Disney+ may expand the feature to include other types of content and new storytelling formats, as well as possible content from creators.
Further availability in other regions has not yet been announced. Stay tuned.
