Viber has introduced ChatGPT-powered features for users in the Philippines.
The update lets users access ChatGPT by mentioning @ChatGPT. This allows users to ask questions, get suggestions, and receive AI-generated replies without leaving Viber.
Other AI features include Translate for converting messages into another language, Chat Summary for catching up on unread conversations, link summaries, AI Polish for improving draft messages, and Image Remix, which lets users edit images using text prompts.
Most of these features can be used without signing in to a ChatGPT account.
However, linking a ChatGPT account may provide higher daily usage limits, while Image Remix requires users to sign in.
The features are now available for Viber users in the Philippines on Android and iOS, although availability may vary.
