PalawanPay users can now use Google Pay Tap to Pay with their PalawanPay Visa Virtual Card on compatible Android smartphones.

Users can add their card by opening the PalawanPay app, going to the Cards section, tapping the Tap to Pay GPay button, and selecting Add to Google Wallet.
To use the feature, users need an active PalawanPay Visa Virtual Card, an Android phone with NFC support, the latest version of the Google Wallet app, and a screen lock such as a PIN, password, fingerprint, or face unlock.
To make a payment, users simply need to turn on NFC, unlock their phone, and tap it on a compatible contactless payment terminal.
The service works at merchants that accept contactless payments, although support may vary depending on the merchant’s payment terminal.
