BOI Approves UP Firm’s ₱47M e-Learning Project

The Learning Management Systems (LMS) Platform application submitte by TAGPROS Education was give the go-ahead for registration by the Board of Investments (BOI). The University of the Philippines Diliman serves as the project’s primary location.

It has been reported that TAGPROS has invest a total of ₱46 million in the online learning platform.

Students can learn “anytime and anywhere” thanks to the Learning Management System (LMS), which is conveniently accessible through personal computers and mobile devices.

TAGPRO emphasized that, in addition to assisting its partner educators, it will also help address Filipino students’ challenges when participating in distance learning.

The platform will also have an application for taking quizzes, and it will support video conferencing, allowing teachers to share live or prerecorded educational content with their students.

It is state that the business is already operational and employs approximately 874 individuals, directly and indirectly, the vast majority of whom are educators.

BOI has stated that the LMS fees are the source of its financial success. The remaining thirty percent will be allocat to TAGPROS, while seventy percent will be give to the partner instructors.
