The BlackBerry KEY² officially launched this June 8, 2018, in China. At that time the smartphone only contained a 6GB of RAM + 64GB of internal storage. Today, BlackBerry has announced that the device now has a 128GB storage variant.
To recap, the BlackBerry KEY² features a 4.5″ display and is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset. As mentioned, the smartphone contains 6GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a 3500mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
As for its camera setup, the device sports a dual 12MP + 12MP rear cameras as well as an 8MP front-facing camera. Additional features of the smartphone include larger keys, BlackBerry’s DTEK security features, as well as a new key named the “Speed Key”. This new key serves as a function key which launches preset apps.
The BlackBerry KEY² comes in the colors – Black and Silver and is priced at ¥3999 (approx. PHP 33,165) for the 64GB variant and ¥4499 (approx. PHP 37,330) for the 128GB variant. The 128 model can now be pre-ordered in Jingdong (JD.com) before it goes on sale on June 18 in China.
