Sony discontinued its X, M, and C-series, with all of those series expected to incorporate the X-series moniker. Which means, that the 6-incher Xperia XA might actually be the successor to the mid-ranger C-series veteran, the Xperia C5. Whether it’s part of the X-series or the C-series, the Xperia XA Ultra seems to have a pretty capable line of specs, particularly its 16MP selfie shooter.
It’s 16MP wide-angle (88 degrees) with OIS should perform like a champion, thanks to the massive features that Sony might incorporate to it. A true selfie master in the works, indeed. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is expected to be priced at Php 18K.

The Sony Xperia X has been critically acclaimed as one of the expected best selfie shooters of 2016. The Xperia X‘s 13MP selfie shooter has an ultra-wide angle lens of 22mm and f/2.0 aperture. The latter is should be capable of delivering a very natural yet color-wise output that many flagships have yet to deliver in the past. For now, like the Xperia XA Ultra, we have to wait for the X-series’ arrival, so we can confirm the Xperia X’s front shooting prowess ourselves.
