Last September 2020, Realme launched its Realme X7 and X7 Pro units in China. Now, it has made a soft launch of its new addition to the bunch, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition.
This unit will sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display and features a 90Hz refresh rate with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Also, the punch-hole display supports an FHD+ resolution. Speaking of punch-hole, the selfie cam is located on the upper-left punch-hole that houses a 32MP camera. Its rear cameras feature a 64MP main cam, 8MP ultrawide lens (which includes a 119° field of view), and a 2 MP macro camera.
The X7 Pro Extreme Edition will be powered by the 7nm Dimensity 1000+ processor, similar to the X7 Pro, and offers LPDDR4x 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. For its OS, it runs in an Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. This is also backed with a 4,500mAh battery capacity that is supported by a 65W fast charging which can fully charge within 35 minutes. The cooling system that comes with the X7 Pro Extreme Edition will have a VC liquid cooling technology.

The smartphone will come in two colors, Castle Sky and Black Clever Forest. For pricing, it differs in the available storage configurations. The 8GB+128GB version is priced at CNY 2,299 (PHP 17,000 est.) while the 12GB+256GB version will be priced at CNY 2,599 (PHP 19,215 est.). Pre-orders are already rolling out among retailers such as Realme China’s online store, JD.com, Tmall, and Suning. There are no details on when it will be available for international stores.
