One year after OPPO launched the F15 and six months after the release of the F17, the company is following it up with OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+. The new duo is practically a twin phone, but with different internals. Though sales will start on March 17th in India, there’s no word yet whether the phones will launch in the Philippines and other markets. For now, here’s what you need to know.
OPPO F19 Pro Series may or may not of polycarbonate material due to its thin and light design. Regardless of it being glass or plastic, the finish reminds us of the Mi 10T Series, coming in Space Silver, Fluid Black, and a special Cosmo Blue for the Plus model.
Spec-wise, the duo is packing a pocketable 6.43″ Super AMOLED display with up to 800nits of peak brightness, albeit with a confirmed Gorilla Glass 5 on the Plus model. No differences in cameras as well since both are sporting OmniVision’s OV48B 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a pair of 2MP lenses for macro and depth purposes. Housed in a pinhole cutout upfront is a 16MP selfie camera.
The 4310mh battery capacity seems just right for phones with only a 60Hz refresh rate; however, the vanilla Pro model comes with 30W charging and a whopping 50W for the Plus model. On top of that, OPPO is re-using the Helio P95 on the former device, with the latter sporting the Dimensity 800U capable of 5G. Interestingly, only the non-Plus variant comes with a 256GB option.
OPPO F19 Pro with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB are priced at INR 21,490(~Php14,300) and INR 23,490(~Php15,600), respectively ad F19 Pro+ at INR 25,990(~Php17,300) for the 8GB/128GB.
