iPhone 5s

Apple has released a new update for iPhone 5s and iPhone 6, which were launched in September 2013 and September 2014, respectively.

The iOS 12.5.8 update includes iMessage, FaceTime, and device activation, ensuring they continue to work after January 2027.

iPads get an update too with iPadOS 12.5.8, as well as the iPod.

Here is the list of the compatible devices:

  • iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3
  • iPod touch (6th generation)

Apple recommends installing the update to avoid service interruptions and to fix any bugs from previous updates.

What do you think? Anyone using these devices still?
