It has been nearly half a decade since YouTube Shorts was rolled out in the Philippines.
The Shorts tab has become a standard feature in the YouTube app, and Shorts videos can also appear on the homepage or in recommendations.
Now, YouTube has introduced a new option that allows users to effectively remove Shorts from their mobile feed through the app’s Time Management settings.

Users can set a daily Shorts limit to zero minutes. Once enabled, Shorts will no longer appear in the feed, and the Shorts tab will be hidden from the app.
The Disable Shorts feature is now rolling out more widely to all users.
