Riders will love the fact that Yamaha TMAX 2020 will launch globally this May 8 in two variants to promote a sportier look, feature-packed, maxi-scooter that’s made for commuting. As mentioned, it will come in standard and Tech Max models. While we can’t say how much it’ll cost, we can share what to expect in terms of features and design.
2020 Yamaha TMax gets a slight boost in both power and torque when compared to the 530cc model. Sporting the 562cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine, it generates 47hp at 7,500rpm and 55.7Nm at 5,250rpm. As for the design, it has the T-shaped LED taillights and slimmer-looking turning lights. Adding to the sportier cues of the new scooter are the edgier rear cowl and black-out exhaust. Some main features that are worth noting here are illuminated storage compartment, smart-key operation, ABS, traction control system, integrated LED headlights, and monotone TFT instrument panel.
The Tech Max model separates itself by having cruise control, heated grips and seat, and height-adjustable windscreen, among others. Furthermore, it will come in Matte Green/Grey and Matte Dark Grey with gold wheels. The standard model will become available in Matte Blue/Grey Metallic.
