What’s inside the box?
The device came in a usual orange Redmi box with the smartphone name written at the lower-left part, emphasizing the “Note 6 Pro” and the company branding at the top right corner. And at the back is, of course, some relevant information about the device.
Opening the orange box, you’ll get the Redmi Note 6 Pro, a wall adapter, a microUSB 2.0 cord, a protective case, some documents, and a SIM ejector pin.
Looking at the Redmi Note 6 Pro, the design and build of this handset don’t vary from the previous and other Redmi Note smartphones. Its metal unibody feels and looks durable and solid. Also, its compact chassis gives the users great and comfortable ergonomics. Nothing new with the overall design, really. Going to its dimensions, it measures 157.9 x 76.4 x 8.2 m and weighs 182 g.
The Redmi 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch 19:9 FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Furthermore, it has 1080 x 2280px resolution, 403 ppi density, and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device’s screen produced vibrant images. The color also doesn’t change even when viewed from different angles. We also tried taking some shots outside and we didn’t have any issues with looking at the screen.
In regards to the notch, if you’re not a fan or if you get irritated easily by it, you can hide the notch by going to settings.
Going to the optics, it has a 12-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel dual camera. The camera features an AI portrait mode, bokeh, night scene enhancements, EIS and HDR which can take a 1080p, 720p, and 4800p videos at 30fps. Aside from that, it is also capable of recording 720p slow-mo at 120fps. If you love taking selfies, this Redmi handset has a 20MP + 2MP dual front camera setup. Here are some camera samples:
The Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. This handset by Xiaomi is packed with 4000 mAh battery with 5V/2A charging support. This smartphone runs on an MIUI 9 based Android 8.1 Oreo.
For security, it has both face unlock and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage model of the Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced at PHP 10,999 while PHP 12,990 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB model.
