Xiaomi is reported to introduce a built-in privacy display feature on its upcoming flagship smartphones.
Leaked screenshots and screen record from Kacper Skrzypek‘s global ROM reportedly show a feature called Smart Privacy Display.
It lets users group apps and set different privacy display options for each group, similar to the hardware-controlled privacy display on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The feature can also automatically activate when users access sensitive pages, such as password entry screens, payment and money transfer pages, and messaging apps.
The feature is rumored to debut on the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, which are expected to launch in September.
However, Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm the feature or the devices that will support it. Stay tuned.
