After the successful launch of the Xiaomi Pad 5 in the Philippines back in September 2021, the company released a new variant of the tablet in China. It now comes with 8GB of RAM (6GB previously), while storage configuration of up to 256GB remains the same.
As a recap, the Xiaomi Pad 5 features an 11-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, up to 8GB of ram, up to 256GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8,720mAh battery capacity with 33W fast charging.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 8GB + 256 variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (~PHP 19,941) and is now available in China. However, there’s no word yet for local availability of the said model, so stay tuned for more updates.
