Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+: Specs, Pricing, Colors, and Features

Vivo X90: Today, as expected, Vivo announced the Vivo X90 series in China. The company’s most recent flagship smartphone range includes three different models: the Vivo X90, the Vivo X90 Pro, and the Vivo X90 Pro Plus. They provide additional enhancements in comparison to the Vivo X80 series.

Let’s look at all the different models available in the X90 series here!

Vivo X90 Specifications

The Pro models look like the Vivo X90. There is a big round camera module on the back, and on the front, there is a curved screen. On the back is a strip that says “Xtreme Imagination.”

The phone has a 6.78-inch curved 10-bit OLED display with a center punch-hole, a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, 452 PPI, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel can be dimmed with PWM up to 2160Hz and has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset runs the smartphone. The LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage are paired with the SoC, and ISP chip is also included.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back made by Zeiss. The system has a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 12MP 2x telephoto camera. It will have a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

It runs OriginOS 3, which is based on Android 13. Some of the other features include a rating of IP64, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers. Like the older models, it only has a USB 2.0 port, which is quite a shame.

Last but not least, the phone has a 4,810mAh battery and can be wired-charged quickly at 120W.

Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+ Specifications

The Vivo X90 Pro and the Vivo X90 Pro+ have a 6.78-inch OLED screen with curved edges and a hole in the middle. The regular model has an FHD+ resolution, while the Pro+ model has a 2K resolution. Both devices also have a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and support for HDR10+. The Pro models come with a fingerprint scanner built into the screen. Both phones have a round camera module that sticks out and a horizontal metal bridge below it that says “Xtreme Imagination” and that Vivo and Zeiss made the camera. The X90 Pro duo is also certified to be waterproof by IP68.

The Vivo X90 Pro and the Vivo X90 Pro+ have a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. The first one has a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide camera with a field of view of 108 degrees, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens.

The X90 Pro+, on the other hand, has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary sensor with the only f/1.75 aperture in the industry. It comes with a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait unit with OIS support, and a 64MP periscope zoom lens with a 90mm focal length and 10x optical zoom.

The Vivo X90 Pro has a Dimensity 9200 processor inside, while the Pro+ has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Both devices have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For getting rid of heat, there is a VC liquid cooling system.

The X90 Pro has a 4,870mAh battery and can be charged with 120W of wired or 50W of wireless power.

The Pro+ model is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that can be charged with 80W of wired power or 50W of wireless control.

The two X90 Pro phones come with OriginOS 3, based on Android 13.
