Filipinos can now get their hands on the vivo V70, which officially launches in the Philippines with a starting price of PHP 31,999.
The vivo V70 sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 459 PPI. It uses an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame and AG glass back panel.
The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with drop protection rated up to 1.5 meters.
Imaging is one of the main highlights of the vivo V70. The phone features a camera system co-engineered with ZEISS, led by a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor and optical image stabilization.
It uses a periscope design to enable higher optical zoom levels. The rear setup also includes a 50MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and an 8MP ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera. On the front, the device carries a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera with autofocus.
The V70 introduces an AI Stage Mode designed for capturing subjects from a distance, with up to 10x zoom support.
It also offers ZEISS Multifocal Portrait options, including 85mm and 100mm portrait styles with distinct bokeh effects. For video, the phone supports 4K recording at 60fps and includes an AI Audio Noise Eraser feature for reducing background noise.
Beyond hardware, the device integrates several AI-based editing tools. Features such as AI Magic Weather and AI Magic Landscape allow users to adjust skies and backgrounds, while AI Retouch includes tools like AI Erase, AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, and AI Color Adjustment for quick photo edits directly on the device.
Under the hood, the V70 is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It features a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W FlashCharge and utilizes a 4,200 mm² vapor chamber for effective thermal management.
Running on OriginOS 6, the device brings AI-driven features such as AI Search, AI Creation, AI Captions, and Gemini Assistant with Google integration.
Cross-device tools like One-Tap Transfer and vivo Office Kit support file sharing with compatible smartphones and computers. The company says the device will receive four generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates.
The vivo V70 is now open for pre-order in the Philippines, priced at PHP31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, PHP35,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and PHP39,999 for the 12GB + 512GB configuration.
The device is available for pre-order from February 28 to March 13, 2026, at vivo stores nationwide.
Customers who pre-order can receive a PHP 2,000 discount, along with select complimentary items, including a vivo VIP Card that offers a six-month extended warranty and six-month broken screen insurance, as well as vivo Buds Air3.
Those purchasing through Home Credit may also avail of an additional PHP 500 discount until April 30. Installment options start at around PHP 42 per day for up to 18 months at zero percent interest.
General availability is expected after March 13, 2026.
