Waterdrop notches have been present on smartphones since the iQOO Z6, the precursor to the iQOO Z6. The Z6 featured an LCD, but rumors suggest the Z7 will have an AMOLED screen instead.

The Snapdragon 695 was the brains behind the Z6’s operation. Speculation has it that the Z7 will ship with a more potent Dimensity 920 processor, as suggested by a recent leak. Details on the Z7’s other features have yet to be made public. At first glance, it appears that the device’s primary camera will feature optical image stabilization (OIS).

In related news, the iQOO Z7 5G may debut on March 21 in India, according to a recent story.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is also rumored to be part of the roster, but it will not be released simultaneously with the Z7.
