TECNO’s global launch event for the upcoming CAMON 19 series smartphones will be held in New York City’s iconic Rockefeller Center. It is also worth mentioning that TECNO has also launched a new product called the TECNO Wallet for TECNO users.
With TECNO Wallet, TECNO customers can transact, gain access to credit, and take advantage of special rewards and promotions the moment their smartphone is opened. It is a complete financial and lifestyle platform that features a variety of products, services, and merchants across the market.
Users will be able to use the TECNO wallet to make easy and secure payments for a variety of services, including money transfers, airtime, data, bills, and shopping. TECNO will be releasing a mobile wallet in June 2022 that will be available to download on selected Tecno devices, as well as come pre-installed on upcoming TECNO smartphones from the CAMON 19 series that will be available in June 2022.
This may be the reason why the company is launching a pilot program for the TECNO wallet in Nigeria and extending it to Kenya by the middle of June. It is expected that, by the end of 2022, the company will launch the wallet in several countries such as Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, and Senegal. It should be noted that the new CAMON 19 Series will be pre-installed with TECNO’s wallet application.  Â
