Tecno Spark 6 Series Offers Up to 128GB, Helio G70, 5000mAh for Php6,490

New-entry Tecno Mobile has launched the Spark 6 Series smartphones that meet the “consumers’ changing needs,” especially this pandemic. The lineup consists of two devices and three models — Spark 6 with 4GB/128GB and Spark 6 Go with 4GB/64GB and 2GB/32GB. The Spark 6 comes with a suggested retail price of Php6,490, while the Spark 6 G only sells for Php5,490 and Php3,990.

Tecno Spark 6 and Spark 6 Go Now in the Philippines

The Tecno Spark 6, it’s bundled with an Helio G70 chipset alongside a long-lasting 5000mAh battery (18W micro USB). The screen is relatively larger than other smartphones today, ranging at 6.8″ diagonal with HD+ IPS LCD. Three cameras are found on the back, with a 16MP lens being the main sensor and two 2MP for macro and depth purposes. Interestingly, the camera supports up to 1440p video recording, which is still sharper and clearer than 1080p. Upfront is an 8MP housed inside a pinhole cutout.

As for the Spark 6 Go, it’s using Helio A20 for the base model and Helio A25 for the top model. The performance isn’t far from each other, so you’re better off with the Spark 6 if you want a phone that can handle a bit of casual gaming. However, there’s only a 13MP camera on the back and the 8MP selfie is housed inside a teardrop notch. Additionally, the screen is your standard 6.52″ size. 

Much like what the name implies, the Spark 6 Go runs on Android Go Edition with HIOS 6.2 on top. It simply means that the phone is designed to use the lighter but faster alternatives of regular Google apps, like Gmail and YouTube, among others.
