Hong Kong-based TECNO Mobile Will Offer “Phones, Smartphone, and Tablets” in the Philippines
Another China mobile device manufacturer is entering the Philippine market; to further expand its influence in South Asia markets. Known as TECNO Mobile in more than 50 countries around the world, founded in 2006, the company is looking to provide “phones, smartphones, and tablets” for Filipinos. Based on the phones they announced this year, it appears that it’s going to be a competitor of Infinix. It means more affordable phones for the masses.
According to the official Facebook page of TECNO for the Philippines, Spark 5 Pro is going to be the first phone to arrive. It features a large 6.6″ 720p+ IPS LCD with triple cameras on the back and a single selfie camera in a pinhole cutout. At the core is Helio A25, with 5000mAh battery to power. It also runs on Android 10 with HIOS 6.0 skin on top. The price remains to be seen, however.Â
TECNO will reach out to Filipinos through a collaboration with Shopee. But for now, we have to wait for the availability of their products.
