TECNO Mobile Philippines is set to launch the MEGAPAD 2 in the country soon.
The TECNO MEGAPAD 2 is a slim and lightweight tablet, measuring 6.6 mm in thickness and weighing just 484 grams. It incorporates an all-metal body build with an anodized sandblasting finish in Space Grey, Light Green, and Cosmic Orange color options.
Upfront is an 11-inch IPS LCD panel with 2.5K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 550 nits of brightness, and TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light certifications.
Powering the tablet inside is the 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also packs a large 8,200mAh battery capacity with unspecified Type-C fast charging support.
The MEGAPAD 2 also gets the new OneLeap Ecosystem Connectivity, which allows drag-and-drop, one-tap pairing, and scan-to-connect features, along with centralized device control. It runs on HiOS 16 and comes with learning resources for kids as well as pre‑installed WPS Office and TECNO AI with integrated AI capabilities.
Other features include an 8MP back and front camera, quad stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity.
TECNO has yet to announce the official launch date and pricing of the MEGAPAD 2. In the meantime, its Shopee listing revealed that it will come with a free Bluetooth keyboard worth PHP 1,999.
