Filter By Price & Features
In today’s market, most consumers seek a device that seamlessly balances aesthetic appeal with versatile functionality that can handle daily activities such as movie streaming, casual gaming, and occasional photography. However, such all-encompassing versatility often comes with a premium price point, which is a common obstacle for many prospective buyers.
But, with the realme 12 5G, you can get this combo of power and beauty at an affordable price of Php 14,999.
Chic Design
The realme 12 5G is surely an eye candy, capturing attention with its design reminiscent of trendy luxury watches. Its aesthetic charm is evident in the camera module that resembles a Sunburst Dial; while the zipper-like pattern mimics the sophistication of a 3D Jubilee Bracelet, accentuated by polished edges for a fined finish.
Its design may be similar to its bigger siblings, realme 12+ and realme 12 Pro+, however, this device distinguishes itself with a glossy back panel compared to the vegan leather backs found in its siblings.
Aside from that, this device is pretty sleek too having a 7.69mm Ultra Slim form factor and weighs 188 grams which is a tad lighter and slicker than its siblings. This device also comes in 2 colorways such as Twilight Purple and Woodland Green which I think are pretty chic.
Beauty Inside
Its outside appearance is not just beaut but so is its performance, matching its exterior aesthetics this device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip with ARM Mali-G57 GPU which is responsible for delivering captivating graphics on your phone’s display, as well as elevating your gaming experience with its responsiveness and smooth navigation.
Apart from that, this device also boasts a 6.72” display size with an FHD+ Resolution of 2400×1080. Meaning, the details on the screen look sharp and vibrant. Since this device has a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio, expect minimal bezels and maximized visual space as the display extends nearly edge to edge.
Furthermore, the realme 12 5G is equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate. This feature enhances the fluidity and responsiveness of on-screen animations and transitions, resulting in a smoother and seamless user experience. May it be scrolling your social media feeds, web browsing, or even playing games.
Now, for individuals like myself who spend a considerable amount of time outdoors and rely on their phones for various tasks, the realme 12 5G ensures seamless functionality even under direct sunlight. This device has a brightness capability of up to 950 nits that guarantees clear and legible screen visibility.
Capturing Moments
Apart from a phone’s aesthetics and processing power, we have to admit that most of the time, a phone’s cameras significantly influence our decision-making process when selecting a new smartphone.
A good example is the realme 12 5G. Its rear camera is equipped with 108MP 3x Zoom Portrait (which is similar to the realme 12 Pro+) and a 2MP black and white sensor. So, taking stunning and clear photographs without breaking the bank won’t be a problem at all.
This device empowers you to unleash your creativity and become a “Portrait Master,” as their slogan suggests. Whether you’re capturing candid moments with friends, picturesque landscapes, or artistic portraits, the realme 12 5G ensures that you can achieve professional-quality results without compromising on cost.
When it comes to its front-facing camera, the realme 12 5G boasts an 8MP camera. Details are sharp and crisp, and what I like about most is it gives a true-to-life skin tone. However, I noticed that this device is quite having trouble in terms of subject to background separation.
Power Generator
This device has a 5,000mAh battery, so doing your day-to-day tasks like social media browsing, a little bit of gaming, and watching your favorite movies without the thought of running out of power too quickly is not something you should worry about. As a matter of fact, on our standard video loop test wherein the brightness and volume are at 50%, the device lasted for 1 hour and 45 minutes which is a good number.
The Verdict
So overall, the realme 12 5G is indeed a balance of power of beauty. At a practical price of Php 14,999. This device proves that it’s not just about having a good performance or a chic design individually but about achieving harmony between these elements to provide a satisfying user experience., making it an attractive option for consumers seeking a balanced smartphone.

View Detail >>Let’s skip the introductions and get straight to testing the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ for gaming!
We covered its specs before which you can watch here, so now it’s time to see how it performs in real gameplay.
We tested five popular games to see if this phone could be the next go-to choice for gamers on a budget.
Game Test #1: Mobile Legends
Settings: Super Frame Rate, Ultra Graphics
The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ handled Mobile Legends really well. The game ran smoothly with no lag or delays, and even after an hour of gaming, the phone stayed cool.
If you’re planning to play for long sessions, lowering the graphics a bit might help save battery, but overall, Mobile Legends fans will enjoy gaming on this phone.
Game Test #2: League of Legends: Wild Rift
Settings: High Graphics, Medium Resolution, 120 FPS (custom settings)
League of Legends: Wild Rift ran smoothly on the HOT 50 Pro+. Unlocking the 120 FPS option made gameplay look even better, although it had to be paired with medium resolution.
After about an hour, the phone felt a bit warm, but nothing too serious. Wild Rift fans can expect a smooth and enjoyable experience on this device.
Game Test #3: Call of Duty Mobile
Settings: Medium Graphics, High Frame Rate
Call of Duty Mobile was a good experience overall. It played well on medium graphics, though there were some frame drops and a little stutter during long gaming sessions.
The phone warmed up a bit after a few rounds, but it stayed manageable. For a budget device, this level of performance is quite good.
Game Test #4: Genshin Impact
Settings: Lowest Graphics, 60 FPS
Genshin Impact is a heavy game, and while the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ managed to run it, there were some frame drops, especially during fights.
We used the lowest graphics settings and set it to 60 FPS. Though not flawless, it was still decent for an entry-level phone. The device did heat up a bit, but for the price, this performance is acceptable.
Game Test #5: Withering Waves
Settings: Lowest Graphics
Withering Waves was tough for the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+. The game had a few stutters even before starting and struggled to keep up during combat.
Increasing the frame rate didn’t fix all the performance issues, and the graphics quality wasn’t great. This game is a challenge for the phone, showing that it handles casual games better than heavy, graphics-intensive titles.
Final Thoughts
The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage is priced at PHP 8,499.
It delivers good gaming performance for casual and competitive games. It doesn’t perform perfectly on heavy games like Genshin Impact or Withering Waves, but it’s solid for Mobile Legends, Wild Rift, and other popular games.
There are minor heating issues and frame drops, but for the price, this is a strong option for gamers on a budget.

Today we are going to compare two smartphones, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ vs OPPO A60 both are in the same price point, but the other one is more affordable and at the same time offers the most when it comes to spec sheet and performance.
Chipset
First, let us look at the most important part of their spec sheet, the chipset. The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is powered by a Helio G100 chip while the OPPO A60 runs on a Snapdragon 680.
Both are 6nm chips, so they are battery efficient but when it comes to overall performance the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ and its Helio G100 outperform the OPPO A60.
It is much more responsive, and it handles multitasking with much more ease. We also tried gaming on both devices and so far, our experience with the HOT 50 Pro+ is much smoother than the A60.
The only advantage of the Snapdragon 680 chip is it has better battery efficiency, however the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ sports an AMOLED display making it a more battery-efficient device.
For a more detailed comparison here are their benchmark results.
OPPO A60
Infinix HOT 50 Pro+
Design
Now for their design, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ vs OPPO A60 sport different looks. Infinix HOT= 50 Pro+ features a simpler look while the OPPO A60 has a stunning and eye-catching appearance.
The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ has a smooth matte-like finish back panel while the A60 comes with a glossy finish with a patterned design on its back with both devices featuring an IP54 dust and splash resistance.
If you ask me, I will go for the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ because of its feel. It has the touch of a laptop build which is cool for an affordable smartphone. It feels and looks more premium plus it has a smaller camera module compared to the A60.
Aside from that, another thing that makes the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ a better option is its dimensions.
For a device that is packed with tons of features, it is surprising that this one is lighter, and thinner compared to the OPPO A60. The HOT 50 Pro+ weighs in at 162g with a thickness of 6.8mm compared to Oppo A60’s 186g and a thickness of 7.7mm. Because of those dimensions, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is an overall better device for day-to-day use.
It is easy to carry around, plus it is comfortable for the hand. I usually lose track of time when I am using this device for social media scrolling, and other multimedia consumption.
Display
Now let’s talk about their display. Usually, an entry-level smartphone display is the part where they cut corners to compensate for other features. You can see it on most devices at this price point. That is why it is always surprising to encounter a device that packs a midrange display with an affordable price tag.
In this comparison, the display of the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is comparable to devices that are priced higher while the OPPO A60 features the most common display of an entry-level smartphone.
The display of the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ boasts a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED display that is paired with a 120hz refresh rate, while the OPPO A60 only comes with a 6.67″ HD+ IPS LCD that is then paired with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Infinix also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor while OPPO A60 still has the standard side-mounted sensor. Another solid feature of the HOT 50 Pro+ is that it comes with a peak brightness of 1300 nits which makes it a solid device for outdoor use plus the Gorilla Glass protection makes it more durable compared to the A60.
In terms of their display quality, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ offers a more vibrant and colorful display with sharp and crisp details. The AMOLED plus the faster refresh rate is a solid feature for this since it gives us a better overall experience. The HOT 50 Pro+ also offers slimmer bezels thanks to its curved edges giving us a much more immersive experience.
Performance
As for software, both phones run on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 on OPPO A60 and XOS 14.5 on the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+.
As for their configuration, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ offers 8GB+8GB of RAM and 256 of storage while the OPPO A60 offers 8GB with up to another 8GB of RAM expansion and 128GB of storage. Considering their price point, it is quite impressive how Infinix manages to fit in a huge storage configuration.
Battery and Charging
When it comes to their battery, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ vs OPPO A60 are backed by a 5000mAh battery capacity with 45W of charging for the OPPO A60 and 33W of fast charging for the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+.
During our video loop test, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ lasted for about 13 hours and 26 minutes while the OPPO A60 lasted about 12 hours and 58 minutes. Even though both phones offer the same battery Infinix lasted longer thanks to its battery-efficient display.
As for their charging, juicing up the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ with its 33W charging took about 1 hour and 18 minutes while the OPPO A60 only took about 1 hour.
Price and Verdit
When it comes to their pricing, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is priced at PHP8,499 for the 8GB+256GB configuration while the OPPO A60 is priced at PHP9,999 for the 8GB+128GB config.
If you are looking for overall value then between these two devices, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is the better choice. Out of all the categories that we talked about the only part where the OPPO A60 comes out on top is the charging speed.
On the other hand, the HOT 50 Pro+ offers a more impressive display, better chipset, longer battery life, and impressive build quality.
Aside from all that, it offers a slim design and an impressive gaming performance which is a thing to have for a smartphone at this price point.
