It was reported that Samsung has finalized the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus’ design. The report came from a South Korean publication where it also mentioned that the device might launch in 2019.

The phone’s specs were also included in said report. The Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus are expected to feature an Infinity Display Design with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 similar to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The upcoming Galaxy S series is revealed to have larger displays than their predecessors. The Galaxy S10 might have a 5.8″ display while the Galaxy S10 Plus might sport a 6.3″ display.

The publication also revealed that the two smartphones may feature 3D facial recognition which was made possible with their affiliation with Mantis Vision.

It was reported that Samsung has been working with Qualcomm and Synaptics in order to give the Galaxy S10 series the under-display fingerprint scanner. The reason was that they aimed to bring the under-display fingerprint scanner feature on the Galaxy S10 and S10+.

A while back, there were reports stating that the Galaxy S10 duo would either be powered by an Exynos 9820 chipset or the Snapdragon 855. In order to clarify things a bit, the Galaxy S10 series that has the Snapdragon 855 might be released to the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China market. The Exynos 9820 version may then be released to the rest of the world.

There is still no official statement on the release of the Galaxy S10 duo. However, it is possible that the company might unveil the two smartphones during the Mobile World Congress next year.
