Strava Adds Tagalog Support Among 10 New Language Options

Fitness tracking platform Strava has announced support for 10 additional languages, including Tagalog.

The announcement reflects “the company’s commitment to providing a localized platform experience,” Strava said in a press release.

The 10 additional languages supported include Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

“With the addition of these new languages, Strava is more international than ever before, enabling users to unlock the full Strava experience in their native language,” said Louisa Wee, the company’s chief marketing officer.

According to Strava, the move is part of a larger international push that includes launching localized content libraries and specialized programs.

Free users will be able to utilize localized features like the ability to track over 50 types of activities and connect with friends. Meanwhile, subscribers can access personalized workout recommendations, route discovery tools, and deeper fitness training insights.

Strava now has over 195 million users in more than 185 countries.
