Insta360 has released the Snap selfie screen in the Philippines.
The Insta360 Snap is a magnetic selfie monitor that can be attached to the back of a compatible smartphone and uses the phone’s rear camera for improved selfies and vlogs. This allows the user to capture selfies with live preview using the more powerful camera of the device.
It connects via USB-C, and the real-time preview can be viewed on the 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution at 267 ppi.
The attachment works with different phone camera apps and has a variant with AMIRO light, featuring three color tones and five brightness levels.
According to the brand, it can consume about 6% of the phone’s battery life with 10 minutes of use while shooting 200 photos.
When not in use, it comes with a 2-in-1 protective case with an artificial leather cover that secures the cable and reduces unintentional touches to the phone’s screen.
The Insta360 Snap with no light variant measures 100 x 60 x 7.3 mm and weighs 75.5 grams, while the variant with light measures 103 x 67.5 x 8.2 mm and weighs 88.6 grams.
