Finally, Sony Xperia Z4 tablet (priced at P30,990 for the SGP771 or 4G LTE variant including a Bluetooth wireless keyboard) reaches the Philippine shore.
In regards to its arrival, we did a quick unboxing and first impression review on Sony’s new tab. Read along and find out what we had to say.
The Xperia Z4 tab’s retail box contains the unit, together with its built-in 6000mAh battery; instruction manuals, Bluetooth keyboard, USB cable and a 2.0A wall charger.
The Z4 tab feels really light and conservative, with its thickness only measuring up to 6.1mm and weighing at 393g and Sony’s trademark water-resistant feature.
The body, despite being plastic-constructed, surely feels right. Combining it with a texture matte finish on its back ensures grip maximization and easy maneuverability.
One of the Z4 Tab’s attracting features is its display, with its 10.1-inch IPS, 1600×2560 pixels IPS LCD screen and 299ppi, that provides extremely high-caliber display qualities.
Camera-wise, the Z4 tablet didn’t deliver anything new to the table, with its 8MP rear camera and its 5MP front facing camera.
System-wise, the Z4 provides a smooth and snappy software experience, thanks to its Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and Sony’s built-in Xperia UI OS.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet is relatively thicker and heavier that the Xperia Z3 Tablet compact, with the Z4, measuring up to 10.1-inch, dimension-wise and weighing in at around 393g, in comparison to the Xperia Z3 compact’s 8-inch and 270g measurement.
The Sony Xperia Z4 tablet is available now in the Philippines! Its priced is at around P30,990 on online stores in the country.

where woud you recommend to buy this po at that stated price?
Jade Jardinico says:
it’s quite expensive if still priced at P30k. Wud rather go for a convertible slate. But if you could get this bad boy for less than P25k with keyboard then it’s a big bargain.

You may be right. What would you suggest as the alternative?

The Super AMOLED-equipped Galaxy Tab S2 looks interesting. Other options include the Lenovo YOGA, Miix tabs in Android/Windows.
