The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is just about to become available in select countries like the Philippines and parts of Asia, but another rumor from our sources points to an upcoming new smartphone of the Japanese company. The alleged device is the Sony Xperia XA Performance with an F8331 model number, and the market name is not a typo as supposed to the current flagship, the X Performance.
Remember that GSM Arena just recently unveiled some photos of an unknown device featuring flagship specs and sharing similarities to the current Xperia lineup. More on the F8331, it features a Snapdragon 820 quad-core chip, revamped design with USB Type-C port, retained 3.5mm audio jack and 23MP main camera that records 4K video, which the current Xperia X Performance lacks.
IFA 2016 is just around the corner and we don’t know what Sony has stored up its sleeves. We might see this purported Sony Xperia XA Performance along with the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium successor, but we cannot confirm yet until the event.
What do you think of the Sony Xperia XA Performance as an option between the flagship series and the budget one?
