Sony has recently announced via Facebook the price and pre-order availability of its latest full-frame camera, the Sony Alpha 7 IV.
The Sony Alpha 7 IV boasts a 32MP sensor and up to 7K video recording. It features the latest BIONZ XR processing engine, a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor, and a 15-stop dynamic range (ISO 50-204,800). it also comes with a 759 phase-detection auto-focus that boasts improved face and eye detection accuracy by approximately 30% compared to the Alpha 7 III. The camera also has up to 10 fps with AF/AE mechanical shutter/silent shooting. Other features include a 5-axis optical in-body image stabilizer and dual-layer mode dial (Still/Movie/S&Q and Auto/P/A/S/M and MR).
For connectivity, it offers 5GHz/2.4.GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. For videos, it can record 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 video and FHD 120p (to 2.5x Slow-mo in 4K, 5x in FHD), and it is said to shoot full pixel readout without binning in 4K and 7K oversampling.
For hardware, the Sony Alpha 7 IV is built with a magnesium alloy camera body, approx. 3.68 million-dot OLED Quad-VGA viewfinder (1.6x higher than the Alpha 7 III), 3-inch side-opening vari-angle touch-panel rear LCD monitor, and Z-series battery.
Additional features include an S-Cinetone for a cinematic look, S-Log3/S-Gamut3, Cine 15+ stops dynamic range, 10x presets x 8 parameters, as well as a Focus Map to visualize depth of field, a Breathing Compensation for a consistent angle of view, and a heat-dissipating structure for continuous shoots.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV is priced at PHP 149,999 for the body only and PHP 159,999 for the kit package. it is now available for pre-order until December 5 at Sony Centre or Authorized Camera Dealers nationwide, as well as Lazada and Shopee.
