Social Security System (SSS) is letting its members avail of a P20,000 calamity loan during this COVID-19 pandemic. SSS members can apply for the assistance program via the website. The government sector mentioned that it will need time to roll out its online application service, assuring the public that it will be available by the second week of April (or next week, as of writing). Due to the risk of coronavirus transmission, over-the-counter or person-to-person transactions are discouraged.
